The program on MBA was established in the year 1994 to leverage the present-day business and current academic scenario and enable students to face all the challenges in a competitive manner. This autonomous program is affiliated to Shivaji University, approved by AICTE and DTE. The department provides various specializations namely Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Production, IT & System, Agriculture Business, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship Development, International Business, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics and Tourism Management. Our faculty have a blend of industry, academics, and research with rich experience in the above-mentioned fields.
Our MBA Department is a unique center of teaching and learning that focuses on helping students to recognize their potential through an educational experience that is truly transformational. We provide cutting-edge industry-oriented courses by leveraging our external partnerships and alumni community to help students imbibe the necessary skills to succeed in the current business environment.
Our courses are planned to make sure that students actively engage with the material presented to them to enhance problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical ability with multi-faceted thought processes. To achieve this, our faculty adopt contemporary pedagogy like case study blended classes, activities, role-plays, industry-interface by the way of Management Conclaves, High Profile Guest Lecture Series, Industrial Visits, Industry Preparedness courses, Skill Updating, Consulting Room, Corporate Mentoring, Domain-specific Management Forums and other Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities to encourage practical exposure to real business situations. The program encompasses human values, sustainable management practices, and professional ethics leading to holistic personality development so that they contribute to business and society as a whole.
The department has an established research center under Shivaji University with three Ph.D. guides. The department has published more than 100 research papers in internationally indexed journals and national and international conferences.
